The Texas race was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maj, TRL, and I all met up as planned and talked for like 45 minutes! I got over 133 pictures from the race at http://photobucket.com/albums/v295/magnethead/2005TMS/FallDickies500/ . I also managed to make it on NASCAR This Morning with my poster.
Left home at 7:45, got to track at 8:40, went straight to the stage truck, got on NTM FOR SURE (i watched the monitor and made damn sure it made it atleast once), got some new shirts, went back to the truck, got the cooler, went in the gate, met up with some online friends from another board, then found our seats in time for the opening ceremonies.
I (along with most of the crowd) was glad to see biffle spin not once, not twice, but actually 3 times. Then i saw mears whap the wall and saw that ryan and pushed him into it on replay. about that time, ryan goes flaying through the grass and I happen to observe mears was a car ahead of newman after newman got back to speed. Connection there?
Everybody was rooting for mark to win, but edwards just HAD to pass him on the second to last lap. Rousch officially owns TMS, as his record was 4-9 (with 4 different drivers) going into the race, and is now 5-10 with 5 different drivers.
