It says on GordonOnline.com that Jeff Gordon was on the Today Show today to promote the 24 Elmo / Jeff Gordon Foundation car. The Jeff Gordon Foundation formed a partnership with Sesame Street to help raise money for charities benefiting families and children in need.
 
I was at Doc today but slept late and missed it.
To my knowledge, Jeff is involved a LOT with helping kids but the brooke wants at least half of EVERYTHING including the FOUNDATION...FOREVER.

Brooke wants part of the foundation? I haven't heard that. I can't believe that would want to take credit for something that she didn't have thing to do with funding. That #@@$!.
 
Hate to be a downer, and certainly have no desire to tork the fans of The Jeff but..................

I am extremely pro female when it comes to dividing up marital assets. Women are not to be used and then cast aside as they lose their youth. Not saying that The Jeff used or cast her aside, only saying that as a general rule I side with the female in matters of divorce.

I do not disagree with you 71Fan, as I am a female,
BUT: I do not agree with her wanting the foundation that bears his name, if that is indeed the case. I do understand that it was set up by BOTH of them, BUT it is NOT the Jeff and BROOKE Gordon Foundation. It solely bears his name, and should rightfully be HIS to continue. In regards to the other parts of the "divorce", she should be entitled to ONLY the earnings portion for 7 years and none before that, or after for that matter. When I got my divorce, oh so many years ago, we split the checking account in half, along with the house furnishings. I am a firm believer that you should NEVER burn the bridges of LIFE, or anyone you have shared it with.
