Michael Waltrip opened his remarks on This Week In NASCAR by telling a story about a female fan telling him that he'd had a monkey on his back recently, and that she gave him a "furry monkey" to take in his car with him. When the show's host suggested that Knaus was now having bad luck Mikey replied "Sometimes you've got to spank that monkey!"
