Police received a call at 11:38 p.m. Sept. 7 to medically assist a student at Arlington Hall. The responders found a female student who was unconscious and took her to a hospital, UTA police chief Kim Lemaux said.
The caller was not the student who needed assistance, Lemaux said.
The female student who was taken to the hospital later reported to police that she had been sexually assaulted at the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house. Police went to the house that night, but Lemaux said she would not comment on anything, pending the investigation.
No one has been arrested in connection with the report, Lemaux said.
The student told police she knew the person/people who she said assaulted her, Lemaux said. When asked, Lemaux declined to say how many people the student reported were involved in the reported assault.
