Dratted severe thunderstorm knocked the lights out for over 6 hours.

So, did I miss anything important --- other than listening to DW. hehehe

I do know the race, hopefully, will be tomorrow.
 
you had storms? we stayed dry, though i thikn we might have had a cell come through round 3 or 5 am..im not sure if i closed the windows before bed or if thunder woke me up.
 
MH, 60+mph winds, blinding rain. Had to go to town for lunch, saw huge trees split or just flat knocked over. One tree had completely blocked the highway. Only had 3/4 of an inch of rain, but it came in about 15 minutes.
 
It's been raining/misting/pouring here most of the day. The service station on the corner had their roof facia to collapse partways. It looks like that may have happened last night when we had some strong winds. But that's the only damage I saw while I was out.
 
only thing I thought was mildly interesting was Hammond quoting "sources" that say Jr is very close to a deal with Gibbs and DW saying he doesn't buy it.

Hammond said Jr may sign with Joe Gibbs Racing within 10 days, but DW shot down those rumors. So yeah, I guess you missed the latest speculation in the Jr saga.
 
Did he say something about Visa or Addidas as being a sponsor for jr.?

DW was saying a shoe company could be involved, and Chris Meyers responded with Addidas. J.D. Gibbs shot down the rumors and said JGR and Earnhardt Jr have not yet officially signed with Gibbs. He said he hasn't talked with Dale Jr in over a week, so everything is speculation right now.
