Did NASCAR do away with standard start times?

I think the standard start time thing only lasted one year. Last year they were all over the place again and this year will probably be more of the same. I've never see the big deal about this though. If your a fan you already know when it will be on. If you're a casual fan a standard start time isn't going to be a deciding factor for you to continue to be a fan.

I just thought some of the races started and ended too late. The one good thing about it this year was that the races only had 100 laps down by the time the Redskins games ended. With ESPN and TNT, I don't mind it so much since their pre-race shows are an hour. There were a couple times the TV guide said the race started at 1pm (on FOX) and the command wasn't given until after 2:45.

All 5 starting races are the same time as they were last year. What's the point Andy?

The majority still start at TBA ET? So what's your point?:D

BINGO

BINGO AGAIN.

And for everybody who missed it last year......

ESPN NFL pregame on SUNDAYS was the reason all the fall races started at 2pm.
