Did the FOX Eat the Rodent?

Digger was front and center during the FOX telecast of the Daytona 500, but he and his buddies have been surprisingly absent from the last two telecasts.

I can't say that I am disappointed in the least by Digger's demise/disappearance - but it causes me to ask...

Did the FOX Eat the Rodent?

Sadly the dream will be short lived. They probably have it on the shelf to hawk some product later on. Think Afflacted Duck, when the moneys right, the prostitute will be back in business.

My theory is since the Simpsons was such a hit when it started that Fox has been looking for the next one ever since.
 
The best animated show on TV right now is Archer. Airs on FX on Thursday nights. Unsupervised is pretty damn funny as well. Neither show is appropriate for kids or prudes.

Archer is a great show, never watched unspupervised after it though. Even had a racing themed episode "I'm running out of.....carborator."
 
Another race weekend on FOX with not even ONE mention of Digger!!!

I'm guessing that since Mikey was added to the broadcast team, FOX felt there were already enough Cartoon Characters for one show - and that including an animated rodent would just be redundant anyway.

Digger isn't dead. He moved into DW's pants and Darryl refuses to let him out. Lots of hugs.
 
Another Week. Another FOX Broadcast...

...and not ONE mention of the rodent!

But folks were lined up at the Digger Merch Hauler on Saturday!! Yessiree!
 
When I bought my son his Digger diecast (his idea and he wouldn't budge) at Michigan last year there was no line at all. The biggest merch crowds were for the 24, 88 and Danica.

It's still pretty much the same except throw Smoke in there with 24, 48 & Danica.

Danica's hauler was a madhouse! Second on the list was Joonyer (it was mobbed). JJ and Gordo were busy too.
So was Pee Wee!
