Them under-powered,underfunded, under drivin, we need help,disadvantaged,non-performing,so called race cars that finished 1-2-3 today? MHO three performace race cars. Need help my a$$!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Dodges and Pontiacs do have a good package for the larger tracks but when it comes to a short low banked one, its a different story...

Paul you miss my point. Did either one of them look like they needed welfare? Why would they even ask, why would nascar even consider the idea?

Bill I don't buy that either. if that crew can make that car run on the track today, they can run on another track tomorrow.

My whole point here is nascar welfare. There should be no such thing for any car.

Three supper race cars today and I'm not a fan of either one.

I still have got to disagree with you EJL, NASCAR welfare helps to make these cars as equal as possible. And Next week at Martinsville, you'll see how well the Dodges do on a short little low banked oval...

There was not a single dodge in the top 10 at Martinsville earlier this year...

Since the dawn of time, one make has been better than another at certain tracks, worse at others. It's called competition, and it's the primary reason that the points system is set up to reward consistency.

Set the damn rules as fairly as is possible and leave 'em alone.

Amen, Ward_Fan.

Every make will not perform exactly the same as any other make on any given track. That's life.

Since the templates will be approximately the same for each make next year, what do you want to bet that there will still be whining in the garage.

Best yer gonna get on a bet like that is 85 to 1 and you'ld have to offer up about 260 to 1 to get me to even consider it:D

Martisville will have nothing to do with car makes, other tracks such as Vegas,Chicago,Kansas etc etc or most of the flat tracks the Pontaics and Dodges do not run well at. Then again ther are tracks they do run good at such as Lowe's, Atlanta,Texas,Indy and Homestead. its about an even plaining feild the Pontiac and Dodges run good at half the tracks and the Chevy and Fords run good at the other half. Next year we won't have to worry about that bc most of the cars will be similar basicly 2 diffrent body shapes. They 2003 Chevy and Pontiac is just about the same car and the Ford and Dodges are prety much the same car.
