Did You Just Catch Gordon's Remarks

on Victory Lane? He said Kyle Busch gave him the finger on the track, so Jeff went over to ask him WTF after the race. Shrub told him that he was "racing him too hard". Apparently the Gibbs drivers have it in their heads that they're the only cars on the track now.

Gordo does it to everyone. He *****es about something every week. He needs to stfu

Really? I've never seen Jeff Gordon flip anyone the bird. Show me one case where he did.

It would be awesome if he did, though.

He has complained and cried about everyone this season! :dual9mm:

Really?

I think this is the first time he's complained about another driver. He's said he doesn't like the car or some of the tracks, but I don't think he's bashed other drivers. Again, show me a link to where he does or I'm gonna keep throwing my bs flag.

It's a damn shame you're an RCR fan. :(

Good one RCR, Andy, read'm and weep. Ya Gordon should have gone up and tag Kyle a good one, oh wait, he would actually have to be as fast or faster to do that. I got a lot of respect for Gordon, but their program is off and he's whining excessively this year, I'm sure its frustration. Duane:rolleyes:

It doesn't surprise me if Kyle did this, he's got some attitude under him this year even more so than the past.

Wrong there, bubba. JG is one of the biggest complainers about other drivers, especially on the track. There've been numerous times, especially over the last couple years, where you've heard him on his radio complaining about someone "racing me too hard" or even "someone needs to let him know who's in the 24 car." Can't remeber the date or who he was griping about, but those were his exact words over the radion to his spotter when someone last year wan't just pulling over to let him pass.

Gordon and Busch get into it after Coke 600
Posted on May 26, 2008.

Former Hendrick Motorsports teammates Kyle Busch and Jeff Gordon had a brief conversation after the Coca-Cola 600 after Busch was apparently upset with how hard Gordon was racing him.

Busch refused to answer a question about it in his postrace news conference, saying the conversation would remain quiet. But Gordon, who finished one position behind Joe Gibbs Racing’s Busch in fourth, didn’t.

“He’s got an issue because he gave me the finger, and you know what?” Gordon said. “That’s not necessary for a guy he just didn’t like racing him the way I did.”

Gordon and Busch were teammates at Hendrick before Busch left for JGR this season.

“Kyle and I never had any issues,” Gordon said. “But I raced him hard tonight just like I did everybody. And when track position is as important as it is here, you’ve got to race every single car for every single position.

“And I wasn’t going to give anybody an inch, and I was racing for position.”

Well, all the guys on SPEED, including Kenny Wallace, sided with Jeff. They compared it to Denny Hamlin complaining that Brad wasn't racing him w/the respect he deserved (get out of my way) during the Nationwide race since he didn't have any Cup experience. Duh Denny, you're racing in the Nationwide race!! Bascially the Speed guys were saying "You have some races under your belt which is great, but don't be telling a 4x champ how to race and not to race you hard. The fans want to see hard racing." Busch and Hamlin think everyone should just pull off on the apron and let them pass. Uh yeah, sure guys!!

And if Jeff has a bone to pick with someone on his radio w/his spotter, well too bad. They can't even broadcast what most of the drivers say on their radios, including Mr. Polite and Perfect Kyle Petty. ;) Ooooops! lol

Jeff was not the only one to complain about the tires. I think he was one of the last drivers to complain about the tires, FWIW. And your "hero Kyle" will tell the interviewers the cars are pieces of crap even when he wins. The guy has talent, but he needs to learn to STFU as RCR4ever likes to say. Ditto for Denny. He's been doing better this season than last, but the comment after the Nationwide race made him sound like a fool.

Face it, you Hendrick/Gordon haters are going to hate him no matter what he says or how he's racing. He's far more of a class act than many of the other guys out there and I think that's what pisses a lot of people off more than anything. His WORST seasons are far better than a lot of others BEST. Oh yes, Jeff BURTON is a class-act, too. Too bad more of his fans weren't.

Don't you wish your "DRIVER".. was HOT like mine?!! Don't you wish your driver could win like mine? Don't you wish your driver was a CHAMP like mine.... hehehe :D :lol2:

But what has your driver done for you lately? (I fixed your post, BTW:))

Seriously though, there aren't many drivers out there that don't b1tch about other drivers now and then, and Jeff is faaaaar from innocent. And besides, all my favorite drivers are the ones that will get out of the car and complain about the other guy, or say what's on their mind, rather than the ones that get out, take an obligatory swig of (insert product here) and spit out their well-practiced, politically correct, sponsor-friendly drivel.

It really all depends on who we like, doesn't it? LOL I admit I get annoyed with Jeff always having to say the DUPONT Chevrolet... blah blah.... lol... althouogh he knows who's been making it possible to race all these years, but I hear ya! I know I turn a blind eye to Tony when he b1thces too, and laugh at him. Hey, let the guys show some emotion, will ya? Just don't be a young guy, win a few races and think you're equal to Richard Petty, or yes, Jeff Gordon!! Ok.... just for the people who are going to call me on liking Tony who others call a "whiner" ...so WHAT?! Maybe I just LIKE whiners!! ;) Jeff is my good boy and Tony is my bad boy! :angel2:

Plus, I never fail to laugh when they show the clip of Robby Gordon throwing his helmet at Mikey Waltrip and telling everyone he's not a nice guy, he's an a.......! I thought it was especially funny when another guy threw his helmet at Robby last season. Ok..so sue me.. I think that kind of stuff is funny and makes racing more fun! ;) I don't mind some antics on and off the track, just as long as they're not dangerous, like Kurt almost running over a 20 team crew guy last year. That was stupid AND dangerous.

YEAH, Jeff better do SOMETHING for me pretty darn quick since I could use the high of him winning more than ever these days! He's really had a crappy season, although at least he's gotten some better finishes and pulled up in the points. It sure isn't last year!!! GAH!! I sure hope the 24 team gets their act together before I go to The Glen this summer. Still, as crappy as Jeff's season has been this year, how many other drivers have way worse seasons and that's typical for them? It must be hard to be their fans. :D

Btw - Jeff might be my favorite driver, but besides Tony, I like a lot of other drivers. I just prefer Jeff wins and if he can't, then I just root for whomever I do like who's in contention. ;)
