Did you know that every driver that has won a race on April 23rd has won a championship in their career, but only Richard Petty has won the title in the same year. Richard did it twice, in 1967 (won at Martinsville 4-23-67) and 1972 (won at North Wilkesboro 4-23-72).

Glen Wood and Brett Bodine are the only drivers to score their 1st career win during this calendar week.
