Both sexes, of Turkeys, make a multitude of sounds. Clucks, putts, purrs, yelps, cackles, and kiki's but it's true only the Tom Gobbles.

In Turkey talk when they call you a putt it's means they know whats up and thier out of here. It's an alarm sound they make right before hauling thier (PC correct) feathers out of sight.
