We moved into our new house last weekend and it wasn't until this weekend that we finally got on-line. We've been busy moving the last of our stuff from the other house so this is the first time I've been on line for more than 2 minutes in weeks. Moving really sucks, but it sucks even worse when you don't finish packing before your help arrives and they throw everything else in miscelaneous boxes.

Bet noone even wondered where I was, did ya?

Funny...

By the way, did I mention that they are finally turning the water on tomorrow? We moved in on the 7th and they said the earliest they could get somebody out here to turn it on was the 17th. With unemployment being so high nobody is paying city taxes, so they laid off most everybody that works for the city of Akron. A few months ago they announced that they planned to lay off a bunch of police officers since the city was going broke. Well, everybody freaked out, as well they should, this can be a pretty rough place even with all the cops we have. So the city basically laid off most everybody else who wasn't a cop or a fireman.

Living 11 days without water is brutal.

Fragrant to I bet. At the old house we were out for 3 days when a water main burst, the kids were small then, it wasn't fun.

Good luck in your new place.

Not too fragrant. We've been able to go back to the old house until today. The eviction notice said we had until 10am this morning. So we've been going back over there every day to shower, wash dishes and fill jugs with water. Even with having jugs of water, it's still a pain not having actual running water. We just left the back off the toilet and filled it as needed. We went through a ton of Purell, paper plates, etc. But today we get water back so all should be well.

no one noticed i was gone either.i've been hiding out on facebook.no one missed me.sniffle,sniffle.:(
