Ding Dong the Yankees lost

I guess George should have spent a few more million bucks on his team. $180 million doesn't buy what it used to I guess ;) No offense intended to Yankee fans, but it was kind of nice to see them not win it again.

By the same token seeing the Marlins win was not exactly a dream come true. The Marlins are the same team who broke our hearts when they beat our beloved Indians in 1997. It would have been better to see the Cubs or even the Red Sox knock the Yankees out, but this is still sweet. :)

Yep, the Marlins played one hell of a series and it's nice to see Mckeon get a ring. Beckett pitched one hell of a game, nice job by that young man. They've had a great season and they're deserving of the title: World Champions for 2003.

Only question now is: What happens to all those New York Yankees 2003 World Champion tee-shirts that were inadvertantly made before the series started?

Well, it's been one helluva post-season and I'm sad to see it end. :(

Thanks for your judgementality. There is no duplication that I see. I saw a thread that was a running discussion of the series. I posted an entirely different thread about the outcome of that same series. Some of us do not wish to go through 10 pages of posts that have nothing to do with the outcome of the series. Which again, was the purpose of this thread. I realize you are a Yankee fan and are therefore upset by the outcome. But bashing other thread members is not very constructive. Have a nice day anyway, would ya?
