Dirtbag Gets 15

I loved the judge's comment about she didn't know if he was arrogant or ignorant, then during the trial she found out it was both.

I don't care who you are, you don't go into someone else's hotel room with a gun and try to take stuff that you say belongs to you. Stupid.

OJ has to be one of the dumbest people on the planet. After you get off for murder, you spend the rest of your life keeping quiet. You dont bust into a hotel room with guns asking for merchandise no matter if it was stolen or not.

The first part of your post is germane so what happened does make sense.

OJ, throughout his life, has had more advantages than even the biggest of idols in this country and for that reason, I do believe that he thought and was right, that he could get away with murder. Once he found that to be true, a simple charge of kidnapping and robbery should be a cinch.

He could have gotten a lot worse, but yet he could have gotten much less. Sometimes justice takes a while to work, but in the end, it does trump all.

So he'll serve anywhere from 9 years to 33 years. In a security cell where he won't have to deal with the general population. It's a state prison not federal. Does Nevada have structured sentencing? If so he could be out in 4 with good behavior.

He'll be eligible for parole after 9 years, is the way I understand it. Several websites state that he has to do at least 9.
Here's how I see it...If you get 9 years when you're 18-25 years old, not too big of a deal. You still have time to have some kind of life after you parole.
If you get 9 years at 61 years old, BIG DEAL. Especially after having led somewhat of a lavish lifestyle. OJ has always led the good life; never having to really work, traveling, playing golf, etc. Prison life is hard on old people, especially when they're not accustomed to being incarcerated.
I expect OJ's health to rapidly diminish in prison. I also expect that OJ will die in prison before he is eligible for parole.

The article says he is not elligible for "good behavior" since it was considered a violent crime. He will have to do at least 9 years.
