Ok, we had the discussion about OBDIII. Here's the latest. My buddy is a OTR trucker, he's here then he's gone, sometimes for up to 3 weeks at a time. He's bustin' his azz and getting nowhere fast.
Yesterday he goes to the town hall, pays the outrageous personal property tax then off to the DMV. Finally gets to the counter and is told his vehicle emission test was due in January, vehicle can't be registered until inspected and passed and it'll take up to 96 hours for the DMV 'puters to be updated from the inspection stations. Who knew this chit was going on? Nobody I know did, including me as a certified inspector.
So, I just made the arrangment, I'll inspect his car at 1, I'll sign the paperwork for him to take to the DMV and get his wife on the road. Why? 'Cause stone cold SST55 sez so.
Former speaker of the house gets off with probation for DUI, pot. Cop gets off for beating his wife ,twice, with a week off with pay. Brother of the former mayor gives the city a $125.000 check that bounces, nothing happen. ANd the list goes on and on.
This place need to be flushed.....
