Disable your trunk opening with your fob

To go along with stealing packages off your steps others are cruising parking lots and have some sort of device that actuates and opens your trunk. Happened to my wife, came out and the trunk was open, nothing was taken because nothing was in it at the time.

Are you sure she didn't accidently hit the trunk button on her keyfob?
Happens to me all the time.

if she did she hit it for 3 or 4 other cars in the same lot.

I found out with my car the trunk would get released even though I never touched the fob. I finally took it and put it in the key box and leave it there. Some cars I found are more prone to accidental openings.
