The young and reigning IRL champ has stated that if he is to full fill his dream of driving in F1, he must get a race seat by the 2005 season. He has had talks with McLaren and been to several of the F1 races this year. He was offered to test the McLaren MP4-17D but denied as "he had yet to rap up the IRL championship".
Personally, I would like to see him in anything other than IRL. Irl provides great racing, but is way too dangerous, as we found out this year with some spectacular accidents, many injuries, and the death of Tony Renna. But you can't exactly get a race seat if you go turning down tests with a team like McLaren!!! What was he thinkin!
