Do NASCAR Associated Personnel (drivers, CC's, media, etc) Read This Forum?

I was a member of another forum a few years ago which Mike Joy used to read and even post on occasionally. I don't think he still does however but I don't know for sure. It was kind of neat because if someone had a serious question for him, all they had to do was address it to him and he would usually respond.

Does anyone here know if any NASCAR associated personnel (such as those mentioned in the thread title) follow this forum, if only occasionally? I doubt that they do but I thought it would be interesting to find out if anyone knows for sure.

I very very very very very very very very very very strongly doubt it. This is a tiny forum. But I do think that Larry Mac and DW used to look at Speed's Forum.

I found this place by doing a Google search of nascar forums.
I don't see why anyone couldn't find it the same way, including the people you mentioned.

Years ago I belonged to a forum that MW sometimes posted at. His name was Loopy55

Like Gordonite says, this place ranks pretty high in Google if you search "NASCAR Forums" (even without Google's stupid search result crafting crap), so there could be a few. Unfortunately, like Andy says, Twitter has become the new de facto public opinion forum. With so many CCs and Drivers on Twitter, they probably peruse there if they want to know any public feedback on something.

I don't know about here, but I do know that in drag racing a lot of the team owners, drivers, crew chiefs, and crew guys, read most of the drag racing forums, but only a few actually post on them anymore. I don't see why Nascar teams would be any different other then their schedule is a little more hectic. Ever once in a while a fan will be dishing an owner or a driver not thinking they are reading it and then that owner or driver will respond and it is pretty funny watching the fan try and pack pedal. Sometimes a fan will go from their worst enemy to their biggest fan in just one conversation.:)

you know I bet there are some connected people reading what we put here. for one this forum has grown a freaking ton, especially lately. The speed forums used to be HUGE, then they turned the thing over to some jerk wad that went by the handle "corner marshal" and he single handily pretty much ran everyone off and ruined the forum. people don't like their posts deleted. I used to post on speed quite a bit until I actually got banned from there. if you have read my posts I think they have been civil and I haven't attacked anyone here. kudos to whomever is running the joint here.

Nitromater? A lot of people used to post on there but there are just so many armchair experts and people who generally act like assholes on there. Makes this place look civilized.

Twitter's fun to read especially when Kyle Petty trolls idiots. Or when someone fires off cheap shots at a driver and the driver will respond to them. It's grand when Kyle Busch or Danica Patrick troll their haters because nobody catches more bull**** than those two.

My old brain isn't working tonight . Someone remind me of the Cup spotters name whose dad was a member of this forum years ago.

Not needed, Most of them just personally email, text, or call me for their sets ups and guidance on their most challenging issues.

Can promise you they are all on twitter & don't have the time for us. Personally I prefer forums to find legitimate information and news, over other social networking sites.

twitter is good for some things, breaking news, but not much else but chaotic statements that are gone in 60 seconds..pun intended. More gossip than any real grit.

That is why most of the teams only read and don't post on that forum. Don Schumacher, Jeff Arend, myself and a few others still post on there and answer questions, but we don't get into debates or pissing contests. There are still a lot of good members on there and a lot of them stop by our trailer and say hi. We had better get back to Nascar talk.

A forum that I used to frequent had many of the print media and a few MRN/PRN posters on it. Once people determined who they were the endless bashing forced them away from the boards. That really sucked as they were quite informative.

Today, Twitter is by far the best form to interact with them. That is if you are not being an ass when you talk to them. I've gotten many answers for various questions that I've had by using Twitter.
