In 1997, the spoiler adjustment helped end Ford's domination. JJ really faded at RIR.
Truex was a horse at Texas.

No. NASCAR needs to stay out of it. The teams are using the same rules and passing tech every week. The other teams need to step it up and figure out how to beat them.

Nobody appeared upset when the 4 car was obviously outperforming everything on the track pretty much EVERY weekend.
The earth will return to its normal rotation after Harvick or Chase win a few races

Harvick does good at PIR because he practiced there alot in 1990s Winter Heat? I dominate Dover on my Xbox because I have been practicing on the track for 18 years since I was 7

if the toys dominate all the way to homestead, trust france to mess with things

If a geriatric like Kenseth and a single-car satellite driver in Truex can outrun HMS drivers on a weekly basis, something is wrong.

It's up to Chevy and Ford to get better. These things are cyclical. It's always been that way.

Nope.

NASCAR cut horsepower from 900+ and added a restrictor plate to all cars as well as cutting the downforce. Who benefits? Toyota.

I don't think toyota has a horsepower advantage. My opinion is its the chassis design and setup.

So you're saying Toyota did a better job of adapting to the new engine and downforce package?

Of course not...a geriatric like Kenseth and a never-was like Edwards just happened to enter their primes when they started driving Toyotas.

Kenseth is a geriatric entering his prime.

Ok.

Same with Kevin Harvick...was a nobody for a decade and got good equipment and all of sudden can't finish lower than 2nd. It's a joke, that's why Brain France is ripping tens of thousands of seats out of every NASCAR track. The crazy NASCAR fans that watched Jarrett, Earnhardt, Gordon, Allison, Kulwicki, Martin, Wallace, etc... know a manufactured star when we see one. Jimmie Johnson is the worst of them all.

Woah JJ and Jeff are not manufactured stars. Jeff gordon won so many martinville's sawing the wheel. JJ ran smooth as ice lines at Daytona for his hardware. Dale Jarett won in Citgo and Interstae.

JJ is a 10 lap debris caution chase hero. He'd have maybe 3 titles if not for Brian The Brain.

Nope, leave'em be and lets finish out the year without making any changes to the cars.

I don't expect any concessions as they are not warranted and how can you allow changes on a spec racer? Manufacturer means nothing to most people these days so I don't think many people other than some stuffed shirts at Ford and GM really care.

Back then the manufacturers whined when they weren't winning and got aero concessions. I think the common template fixed that. I think any disparities now can be traced to the team.

Toyota was behind for quite a while and now that they've caught up, people want changes for the other manufacturers?

Audi would be ugly. The Hyundai accent would be ok if they still make the car?

So since Toyota has been better with this platform thus far they should be penalized? OKAY! LOL

Lookee here, we done got one of them thar black helicopter folks in our midst!

Usually there is one team that'll hit on a new rules package when it is introduced. HMS is usually the team that figures it out first, it just happens to be JGR that figured this one out first. The gap will close as the season progresses. The Hendricks and Penskes of the world never stay down long, not that either team is running like garbage as it is.

Oh look at you with your sound logic and reason!

Agreed. Pocono, 2013 was painful. David Wilson made a bold move by going backwards to go forward. Peeling back any horsepower to keep 'em from blowing up. They were slow. This run is sweet for me because I will never let myself forget how bad it was. Kyle Busch had no shot with that piece, and now he feels like he can win every weekend.

Matters to me.

I think manufacturer is still big for a small minority but the average person doesn't even think about it much less give a hoot. There was a time when a driver or team switching manufacturers would cause fans to either start hating someone they formerly loved or start loving someone they formerly hated.

SHR won't see anymore like or dislike for its owners, teams and drivers because they are switching decals just as drivers like Kurt, Kyle, Jimmie or Dale Jr would not see any difference in their status because of a decal swap.
