of course i go for my states teams Oklahoma STate and university of oklahoma ----some how i doubt we'll bring home the championship though
 
Oh yea, I'll be glad when football season rolls around. Gotta pull for them Tennessee Volunteers! GO VOLS!:)
 
I have two favorite teams. Penn State (Paterno is the classiest man in sports, bar none.) and whoever is playing Tennessee. I am the official Anti-Vol.

Sure thing, but it's complicated. I went by choice to MTSU, a state school accepting funding same as UT. I saw what "classrooms" we had to endure, and classes cancelled due to lack of faculty. Then I ran across a little article in the newspaper about college funding from the State of Tennessee. UT had 25% of the students in public colleges and received 75% of the funding. Breaking that down, it would be like having 4 kids and one dollar. Give one 75 cents and make the other 3 split the quarter. And I be damned if someone in Knoxville is 9 times better than me. Plus, no one looks good in orange except criminals. (Sorry Tony fans! No offense intended.) Paterno runs a class act up there. So I went with a living legend who never gets in any trouble with the NCAA over Johnny "Jack Daniles" Majors, Phil "What's a salad bar?" Fullmer, and all the convicted felons that have run through that place. I can understand anyone puuling for the college they attended, but I chose not to be in Knoxville for a number of reasons, and thus feel no reason to pull for them. Sorry for the rant; it's a touchy subject with me.

Penn State...gotta love those uniforms! and JoePa is the man!

And of course my alma mater...Eastern Kentucky University! Go Colonels! The ONLY football national champs in the commonwealth!
 
Oh yeah! The fall is my favorite time of year by far. Ohio State and Florida State are my favorites.

Y'all better look out for Ohio State over the next couple of years. Thay had the 2nd rated recruiting class in the entire country this year. Remember the name Justin Zwick. He is the future best quarterback in college football. I don't think he will start the season as the #1 guy because he is a true freshman. But, I would not be at all surprised to see him under center before the year is out.
 
I'm tellin ya, Penn State will be back. Maybe not this season, but next for sure. That little QB they got is a winner. And we all know the D will be there. JoePa ain't quite ready for shuffleboard yet.
 
I will only pull for 2 teams. My beloved NCSU wolfpack (as my sig line indicates) and any team playing uNc-CH.

Oh, and hot4that20 - great game last year. You heading our way this season?
 
Class of '93, a scant 9 years after finishing high school. (Hey, the parts I can remember were a blast, the rest is a little fuzzy lol.) Started out as a RIM major - yeah, I'm one of THEM. Ended up with a Psych degree of all things. That campus has changed so much since I was there. You used to actually be able to DRIVE around the Peck Hall loop. Don't miss Middle Tennessee much though, except for Toot's. What a place. Beats the heck outta Hooter's anyday. So much like yourself, I have survived my share of Grill Gruel, heck I even predate the fast food joints they put in there. I better shut up, I feel the need for Geritol.
 
A RIM major. Haha. We've always made fun of those people around campus. About 1 in 10,000 of them make a real career out of it. The rest of them end up stacking CD's in a music store somewhere.:satisfied

I don't really care much for Toot's food. I like the atmosphere there but I'd much rather go to Hooters for food anyday. Especially if your talking about wings. Toot's wings are terrible.

Grill gruel. Ugh. I know exactly what you mean on that one. Although it did seem to get a bit better the last couple of years.
 
I almost forgot...my other favorites are whoever is playing Michigan and whoever is playing Notre Dame.:)
