Casablanca was a pretty good spy thriller for back then. I loved it. Another classic movie I loved was Patton, one of the best war films I've ever seen

For Whom The Bell Tolls was a pretty good movie, also Battle of the Bulge, Kelly's Heroes, Bullitt, The Great Escape and All Quiet on The Western Front.
