You don’t get to taunt the officials in any sport.

He’ll get a well earned vacation.

Why would Mr. Williams need a waiver?

Because we've still got two plate tracks before the chase and literally any driver can pull a rabbit out of a hat at either race. Of course he'll need to make sure all the bear bond is secure, but if he does....who knows what could happen!

At least Josh Williams gave his small market team & their sponsors a lot of exposure. I'll give him that.

Reminds me of this:

Since the NFL sucks, you'll have to click and watch the video on YouTube itself.

I didn't bother to tune in for the first half of the race so I missed this whole fiasco.
I don't see anything wrong with black-flagging cars that are at risk of dropping debris but that rule hasn't been applied constantly in the past. In 2021 Chase was allowed to run several laps at the Roval before his bumper finally fell off and brought out the caution.
What is strange is that apparently Williams was called straight to the garage.
I absolutely understand his frustration and as a side effect he got himself some exposure that he never got before in five years of driving mid-pack Xfinity cars.

If I had the extra funds right now, I’d get one.

The suspension is pretty lame but it’s cool to see how much support he’s gotten.

I’m guessing the offers to pay his fine didn’t help as far as the penalty goes.
I think it helped. He didn't get fined any money

I think he got off easy myself. It's good to have personalities in the series, but there's a line.
I think he got screwed because nascar was upset about all the caution laps they were running. But they also run under caution for 20 min during a previous caution so IMO don't be mad that you had to run out and pick up a piece of tape when it took you 20 min to clean up speedy dry.

If the offer weren’t made public maybe he would’ve gotten fined, covered, and kept his seat this weekend. But that’s just speculating.

He says he's gotten a lot of positive feedback, including from his sponsors and that after Bristol Speedway learned that NASCAR had parked him as a penalty, they sent him an e-mail saying that they were holding a reserved parking place for him.
