LaJoie to be the replacement, Hocevar to the 7. Great moves for both those guys.

The fact that they didn't put Berry in pretty much guarantees that Berry is in the 4 next year, imo.

- But I was expecting a Tuesday decision.
- Like wow announcing it Monday means they were getting on top of this one early.

- Then I realized it is Tuesday.

Eh, not much to celebrate when an entitled ass gets his due. Let's see a felon for an owner, drivers who are so entitled that they do whatever they want regardless of the impact on the team, two yappy ass entitled lieutenants, two outright rules violations (that we know of).....What a stellar team. Where is the poster who said they might get four to Phoenix?

They have a good shot as things are now of getting two of four to Phoenix and wouldn’t be surprised to see 3 of 4. Jeffy and Chadly have a whole summer to make HMS even faster.

They aren't dominant anymore. The almighty Larson looked pretty normal Monday. One maybe two....not three or four. Plus, there is a whole summer for these jackwads to go parasailing, rock climbing, deep sea diving. I'd be nervous if I was The Felon with a week off after Sonoma. Ole Josh Berry better hit the gym.....could be a long season for him.

I have never cared for the waivers but it is hard to refuse them with the current threshold of setting the playoffs first by the most wins, and then the points for the 16 positions.
A driver that missed races and still makes the playoffs still meets the stated criteria.

In addition to this any policy on the waivers should be spelled out with a full set of protocols before the first race of the season. Adjusting the rules during the season should be avoided whenever possibile.

Without going down the chase elimination system sucks road, I do wish they would at least add a points deduction in addition to the points that will be lost due to a suspension. Maybe an actual 100 or 200 point penalty in order to make it a more powerful decision.
It would be even be better if they eliminated any of the bonus points a suspend driver would earn throughout the year. They carryover throughout the playoff rounds and that would be a huge deficit to overcome in terms of making the final four.

I dont think any favortism to the owners is in play. As good as refusing a waiver sounds it will never happen due to being a death penalty type of punishment to the sponsors.

The ass chewing coming from Mr. The Smoke tomorrow at the shop is gonna be EPIC. To be a fly on the wall.

There is no way the 14 even makes it out of round 1 even if they manage to sneak a win. They’re so slow to start the race every single week and even with a win they’re AT BEST -18 playoff points. No way they’re gonna get 4-5 wins to even get back to 0.
