Does tony have enough time?

I know its still pretty early in the season, and tony does better towards the end of the season.
But I dont think tony has been this far behind before.

The anouncers mentioned this during the race. They said they didn't think he had enough time, with so much competition this year.

If anybody can catch up late..it's Tony.Unfortunately,the guys in front of him are just to tough this year for him to take the title.Junior Johnson used to say to have a realistic shot at the title,you had to be in the top five by July at Daytona.I hate to say it but that usually is a pretty good rule of thumb.

I'll have to say that Stewart doesn't have time to make up the points given where we are in the season right now. He can get into the top 10, but I'm not so sure about any more than that.

To get back in contention, Kenseth, Gordon, Labonte, and Jr would all have to have too many bad races while Tony was perfect and in the top 5 every week. Not a likely situation based on how they have all run so far this year.

I hate to say it but I said "No" I wish he did. I do think that he will hit the top 5, he is always so stronge the last half of the season.
I hope he proves me wrong.

Odd man out. I said yes. Not a big Stewart fan. I do say he is good enought to catch up. That is if he has any luck at all. But I do admitt lady luck is going to have to be good to him.

There is alot of racing left to go this year! If he can stay out of trouble the rest of the year and Matt , Jr and Gordon get in a little trouble he sure can!

I don't see Tony Stewart in the top 10 in points by the end of the year. He seems to be having a very similar year to what Bobby Labonte had in 2001. Stewart's team seems to be having a lot of bad luck this season. He will get a win or two this year, but I see more bad luck coming Tony's way.

I think he has the time, but I doubt he'll get everything to go his way.

He has the time but I said no. He does run better in the second half of the season but I don't think that he's ever run so bad the first half of hte season before.
