Dogs and agility

I've beeen to one agility class. We have two Welsh Corgis, pictured in the avatar are Bailey and Bonny. Unfortunately, I do not take the time to train them but they would be great at agility. Any mutt can do it if properly trained. To me, the idea is to have fun and not be concerned with winning.
If you think you want to do it, go for it. We have a neighbor whose entire back yard (roughly 100 ft. x 75 ft. is enclosed and filled with training items for agility. At 76 I feel like my knees are going to give out when I run. Too many years of lifting plate glass that was always 100 pounds heavier that I should have.

BTW, if you like agility, you'll love this!

Mika was 6 months old here when we started. This is 6 hours condensed to 15 minutes..it's amazing how far they come in a Short time

Agility 1

Agility 2

Bonny, the tri-color, will be 7 this month and Bailey will be 7 in July. Me, I'm 76. Too old to train? Got me thinking Dude!
I might just have to see about enrolling the corgi's in classes. Bailey is not a good listener whereas Bonny tries extra hard to please. I see a corgi (black) following your pup over the raised ramp. ; > )

Keep us informed of the progress.
