Good news for Kyle, bad news for Turner. I think that will possibly be 2 fully funded trucks for KBM next year. I wonder who will drive. Ron is floating around somewhere.

It's also possible that KBM will enter the NW series next year. This could get interesting.

Doesn't matter, the Truck Series is dying. The Cup teams have driven the price of competition up so high in that series that it's defeated the entire point of the series. Another Brian France failure.

I've noticed that Kyle hasn't been running the JGR #18 as much lately. Maybe he's getting ready to build his own Nationwide team.

That happens in every form of racing and to some extent life itself. The Big Moneys come in and Cherry pick untill the run off the lil guy then wonder why there's nobdy left to race :(

Good for KBM.

Now the essentials, we need more Go-Deddy marketing type tarts on my TV screen doing the commercials.

Dollar General seems well suited for such a campaign. As a low buck marketer a presentation of some quality white trash tarts (unscrupulous kinds that knows lots of tricks, you would never bring them home to meet mama) would be brilliant.

I like Samantha but unfortunately I don't think that would be her gig, she would be better suited to market in a high classy tart role.

On a secondary note, who can blame Dollar for going with KBM, that's probably the best team for exposure

Sorenson has been released effective immedietly, with Vickers taking over for the next 2 races.

I don't get it. Sorenson is better than Allgaier, who has proven himself to be a jealous teammate again and again.

I read that today on NASCAR.com and my response was that of Scooby-Doo:

RHUUUHH??

Only thing I can think of is that since Vickers ain't gonna have a CUP ride in '12 that he's getting a jump on competing with Sadler in N'wide next year. Still, I was quite surprised. Maybe Reed was shtupping the wrong shtuppee - or, Justin was shtupping the right one...

Wait, Reed is 3rd in points. Why not at least wait till the season is over:confused:

lol I can't figure the angle for releasing your best driver when he's still in contention for the championship. If Justin didn't torpedo him, he would be about 20 points out.

Must of ran is mouth to the wrong person at the wrong time. They probably planned on doing something with him at the end of the year. Justin has sponsorship dedicated to him lined up for next year already i believe. $$$$

not only no one left to race, but no one interested in the product, especially those that spurred the growth.

Sorenson was fired while sitting third in points, yeah he must've either said something wrong or got caught shallackin the bosses wife & or misstress...

Dollar General leaves Turner Motorsports; headed to JGR? Turner Motorsports announced Tuesday that Reed Sorenson, who is currently third in the Nationwide Series standings, is out as driver of the #32 Dollar General Chevy. Brian Vickers will assume driving duties from Sorenson beginning this weekend at Kansas Speedway. Turner offered no reason why Sorenson has been sidelined despite the driver currently sitting third in the Nationwide Series points standings. "I'm pretty confused right now," Sorenson said. "I really don't know what's going on right now. I'm trying to figure some stuff out and get through this weekend. It's hard on me, it's hard on the guys that work on this car and where we finish in points. So it's a bad deal." The announcement comes on the same day that Turner Motorsports acknowledged that Dollar General was leaving at the end of the year. Dollar General is expected to be a limited sponsor on one of Joe Gibbs Racing's Sprint Cup cars and as a primary sponsor in the Nationwide Series. Calls to J.D. Gibbs were not returned.(FoxSports)(10-5-2011)
