The Dolphins had a chance to do something truly remarkable this year by going 0-16. But they blew it by beating a really bad Baltimore team Sunday.

They had faced some challenges in doing this already this year. With teams like the Raiders and Jets(twice) on their schedule they knew it would take a strong effort in futility. Yet, with every challenge until Sunday they had risen to the occasion and played really poorly when it mattered the most. They even tried to lose this game to Baltimore, letting the Ravens tie the game at the end of regulation and then drive into position to kick the game-winner in overtime. Had Matt Stover simply done his job and made that very makable field goal, their efforts would not have been wasted.

I don't think people realize how hard it is to go a full season as a professional team and not win a game. It certainly isn't easy, but I really thought this team had what it took to accomplish the truly remarkable. I guess not. :(

Local Paper has the headline "One-Derful" :D The way sports casters carried on you'd have thought we won the Super Bowl. I guess any glimmer of success is worth jumping on. Now we just have to beat New England next week and all will be right in the world...;)
