I hate that.

Unlike a lot of Nascar fans,I am a huge IROC fan.A very interesting field this year, with Biffle and Busch competing!

A shame :( .

IROC is fine but would be a lot better if they raced on different layouts. All races being run on a superspedway is not that interesting as drafting plays such an important role.

The ideal situation would be to run one race on a super speedway, short track, a road course and an intermediate track to see who shakes out the best overall.

IROC is not a bad series, but it is a repetitive series because of the tracks they run.

they should move IROC coverage to SPEED like the trucks...ESPN doesn't really care much about it.. :D

What they need to do is change some of the things in iroc, I think about 90% of the people on this board agreed with that last 20 times this was brought up.

Just read this and I suspect this will be the last year we will see IROC racing as we know it today...

"True Value is ending its 19-year sponsorship agreement with the International Race of Champions at the end of the season.
IROC said Friday that True Value, owned by parent company TruServ, was pulling out of auto racing because of the realignment of the corporation's marketing investments.

True Value joined the IROC series in 1984 as an associate sponsor and became the title sponsor in 1999.

The IROC series matches 12 drivers from different forms of auto racing in equally prepared cars. The goal is to eliminate the mechanical advantages and to produce a winner determined solely on driver skill."

Well that sucks, I also was looking forward to watching it this year.

The ONLY thing good about this years IROC- is the feud between Harvick & Biffle.

Harvick, confident, last years champ, verses Biffle, ****y out to prove a point.

Should be good racing. I know that they are going to be going at in the regular season---but there are fewer cars- more chances to run into each other (litterally) in the IROC series.

Yeah--- & I agree, they need to change it. Different tracks, different cars. If they did that- they might make it a TRUE test of the champions from all the different series. Right now- it's fluff.

ESPN has gone down the crapper when it comes to racing!!!
