But your future arch-rival may have quitely entered the scene this week.Only a couple of posts have mentioned this and none have really taken it to it's logical conclusion.The ultimate delicious irony is that this new guy is nearly as disliked and ridiculed and incredibly talented as you yourself are.
Who is he?Well,he publicly stated that he 'doesnt have much in common' with you.Even though he has raced against you more than most on the circuit have.
Also,he has to be a little stung by the attention,both good and bad,YOU are receiving...even though he has won two NASCAR series titles and won in this rookie year.
Because you know he is good.Not 'engineering skill' good.Not like Ryan.Not 'big budget' good like Jimmie.Not even 'incredibly composed' like Matt good.Nope.
Like yourself,Greg Biffle is a true wheelman.A true and gritty,ice water veined driving machine.
Doug Richert has came on board.An old vet who has worked with a couple of true-grit drivers before.Earnhardt,Bonnett....now he is back with the type guy he works best with in Biffle.
IF all the racing fates line up on this,any future on track battles between you two would be some of the very best in NASCAR history.Hollywood couldn't have scripted it any better.Two much disliked Roush drivers smacking each other into the wall and the grass and the other drivers.
Cole and Russ could never put on a show like you two guys hopefully will.
GREAT MOVE JACK!Richert with Biffle was a stroke of genius,IMO.Way,way to early to tell,but pretty sure this was the move of a lifetime.Maybe even better than Kurt and Jimmy.I admired Randy,but Doug just seems better suited to the 'rough' type drivers like Greg.
Greg can drive the wheels off anything.All doubting fans will see that soon enough.And with the right guy behind him,he might even be the best hope to prevent Kurt from taking this series completely over much like Jeff Gordon did a few years back.
