My son just told me "Uh, Dad I think my iPod is in pocket of my jeans".

"The jeans that are in the washing machine right now?" I replied

"Actually, I think they are in the dryer already" he said.

I went down and we pulled the entire load out of the dryer before we found out that he was right. Now what do you think the chances are that that thing will ever work again? Well, he let it cool down from the dryer heat and charged it on it's charging base for about 5 minutes. It has a few spots on the diplay screen, but it works perfectly.

What are the odds?

There's not enough voltage to short out any circuits. Same as a cell phone. You can disassemble, dry thoroughly and reassemble with no worries.

If I were to disassemble I would probably have parts left over when I got it reassembled.

Last November I dropped my mp3 player in the snow....found it in March when the snow melted. Worked great...with new batteries.:D
