OK Kiddies, 17Fan has a little story for ya’ll about Doofus (Jimmy Spencer) and Diligent (Matt Kenseth).
Doofus suffers from long term memory loss. He forgets that he was a wrecking ball on four wheels when he first came into Winston Cup. Diligent never holds a grudge.
Doofus tries to pay back every driver that wrongs him, even at the expense of costing him the race win. Diligent may get mad at a driver, even his teammate, but he always talks it over with said driver and everything is fine by the next race.
Doofus’ pre-race ritual is seeing how many Krispy Kreme doughnuts he can devour between the driver’s meeting and driver introductions. Diligent’s pre-race ritual is going over last minute notes with his crew chief.
Doofus will never win a championship. Diligent will win a championship, possibly even this year!
