It loos like they are desperate to fill those seats. I used to be a season ticket holder of those $84 seats. Man, the money I would have saved now. Oh well, maybe someone else here is interested?

I saw Richmond's prices are back up to $100 per ticket for good seats... which is actually a big mistake. Dover's target audience is gonna be in Baltimore and they know that and are cutting prices.

Richmond, on the other hand, their prices are headed back UP even after cutting capacity. 60,000/90,000 is not something to brag about.

These tracks don't get it, they've priced themselves out of the market.

Dover pushed my family away from the track when they were moved earlier in the schedule. They lost many fans that year. They are now moving back to their original place on the schedule but I think it's too late for them.

Richmond, I couldn't agree more. When they forced us to purchase the Indy weekend in addition to the Cup/Nationwide weekends we finally bailed on those seats after eating the IRL weekend cost, twice. I couldn't give those tickets away.

Richmond seems to think that their fans will pay any price for their tickets. Their prices are back up to pre-recession levels... eff that. I paid less in fall 2007 and spring 2008.

I got to interview the GM at Bristol last week for a story I did for our local paper. They still think they can get a sell out for next week. One of the things I asked was about lowering ticket prices. He wouldn't say if they'd consider it for next year.

I can yell you right now that they didn't lower them for 2012. My invoice came in the mail today. Only 4 days before I leave for this fall race. Talk about being on the ball.

Wow, they're sending them out that early? When I had season tickets, I used to get my invoice in September.

I guess they're trying to get us to pay up while we're down there? They do offer payment plans though. That's a nice option.

Bristol's tickets are WAY overpriced! I would only pay about half of what they ask to go to a race there. I have been three times and all were via a friend who got free tickets. Granted, I have only been to two tracks, Bristol and Martinsville. My seats in M'ville were in turn four and were 45 bucks each, which was a steal for what a great view you had! The only reason I let mey M'ville tickets go is becaue I got tired of watching Hamlin win every time I went..had nothing to do with the price!

I wouldn't mind going down to bristol next weekend, but there is no way I am paying 100+ for tickets!

New Hampshire was advertising $40 tickets. No doubt in the nose bleed section but you could pay them off at 10 bucks a month. Desperate? I think so.

Martinsville is the only track that I know of that you'll find those kind of prices on a regular basis from year to year. A fantastic value IMO. I go there as well each year. I sit in the top of the South Terrace there for far less than my seats @ Bristol.

I have two season tickets @ Bristol and normally pick up two more if my son & daughter join us as is the case next week. I can pick tickets up at the track from fellow campers at a greatly reduced price.

I just got an email from Atlanta where a person can buy tickets to both races (good seats too) and a pre-race pit pass on Sunday for $149. It's like $260 to buy all of those separately. That ain't a bad deal.
