Dover knows what fans want...

The 2007 fall race, after riding around all day, in the final 50 laps, all they did was crash. That was the most bizarre race I've ever been to.

Dover has a tendency to either be thrilling or a horrible bore. But that 2007 race was neither, it was just bizarre.

Someone should forward this to Tony Stewart though. I know the track is in dire financial straits (actually, financially, they're in a certain creek without a paddle) and is in serious jeopardy of losing one, if not both, of their races, but C'mon Man! Good grief.

I thought Eddie Gossage was the only one who would do something so tasteless.

I say we give them bombs, guns and power-ups for the full mario cart experience.

I guess showing cars racing in the ads just don't cut it anymore. Maybe NASCAR should have a wall that pops up at the start finish anytime after the half way point. That way the ones like me that enjoy the racing and not the wrecks gets it and the demolition derby fans get what they want. I'm getting sick of people talking about a lack of yellows and crashes. They go to race. Sadly enough, I think NASCAR is buying in to some of this crap to.

They show the wrecks to try and lure new young fans. The seasoned fans know better.
