I have always loved the monster mile. It has a wide and low groove. It is fast and narrow with closing speeds. One of my favourites.

The speeds here are insane. I can only imagine with the symmetry of the cars how tough this place is for drivers now

In a Hendrick car Jimmie could probably compete for a win at dover, in a legacy car he will be lucky if he can score a top 30.

The only flaw with Dover is the overhead crossing (going into turn 3, I think).

It isn't a problem aside from killing the rain barrier that most of us experts refer to as the vortex. The structure itself limits the ability to establish a overhead vortex ring that is whole.
