Dover

Andy, I doubt that Smitty would close Dover if he did indeed purchase it. Yeah, he might try to change a date. But the article seems to think that his main interest would be in his NASCAR ventures. That might be part of it sure, but he is slowly trying to build up his drag racing venues as well, and if he can hype drag racing much the same way NASCAR was hyped in the 80's, this new venture could be very lucrative. He isn't building the new drag strip at Lowe's Motor Speedway for NASCAR.

I don't like the Bruton Smith dragstrips. But, with the troubles the NHRA is having, Mr. Smith might want to focus a little more attention toward LiveNation Motorsports.

Now why does this not surprise me? We here have found very little of anything that you like.
:idunno:

The racing just isn't very good at Smith's tracks. Maybe ZMax will be different since it's concrete.

zmax will be just like ennis. lots of grip, lots of tire chunking....and i wont mention the other thing ennis is imfamous for. *cough force koretsky cough*
