He did indeed. It was real interesting listening to his scanner yesterday. That had a bunch of things that they were trying that had to do with fuel millage. I know..... fuel millage. Probably the last thing that people wanted to hear about leading into the first race. He was able to run 1/2 sometimes 3/4 throttle back in traffic. That wasn't true of all of the competition. The only time he was flat out was on the run to the front. Other drivers that I listened to were just hanging on to the draft with all they had. I don't want to set myself up for disappointment but I've got a much better feeling this year. Who knows? It's a crap-shoot at best.

I didn't see him chug steam at all yesterday, and he went where he wanted, pretty much when he wanted. He'll be able to push more, if need be..

I have to enjoy those races from up here. I wish I were there. I don't get to go until Bristol. I leave in 18 days. Not that I'm counting or anything.

Yeah, me too. Wife's at the casino, and i'm home with the boys. They were calling for 3-5 inches of snow, and all we're getting is rain. I think i've picked up the snow shovel 3 times this year, and one of them was for the dog sh*t.......
