Found this interesting.

According to the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services there are 700,000 Physicians in the U.S.
Each year there is on the average 120,000 accidental deaths caused by Physicians.
That equals 0.171 accidental death per Physician.

Now think about this.

There are 80 million gun owners in the U.S.
The number of accidental gun deaths per year is 1,500.
That equals 0.0000188 accidental death per gun owner.

If you work the numbers Doctors are about 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

Fact: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS A DOCTOR. Think about it.

Great post, maybe I can get rid of my doctor and get another gun

The anti 2nd amendment hacks at the AMA and the CDC would better serve the public by trying to do something to eliminate their "medical misadventures" and stay out of the gun contol debate.

Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than all of my guns combined and yet he is one of the most vocal anti-2nd amendment guys out there.
