I'd be in favor of keeping the Chase but changing the races regularly. This schedule has 32 events and features some Monday night and Thursday night races to raise TV ratings. I understand the tracks would take a small hit but TV money would raise the profile of stock car racing as a whole. I firmly believe that if short tracks did a weekday show on national television, NASCAR would return to it's place as a major sport.
The other thing NASCAR needs to do is return to it's roots. Knoxville has the perfect setting for a weekday Cup event with stands on both straightaways and Eldora is... Eldora. Let's get stock cars back on dirt and out of the cookie cutters.
This schedule would raise demand because most tracks only get one event and it would also make NASCAR the most dynamic championship schedule in all of racing, including IndyCar.
