Driver of the week Sonoma

I'll go Vickers, too.

I'm just not ready to concede anything to Kurt Busch - yet.
Driver of the week encompasses a lot of criteria.

Jmo. We'll see.

As much as I want to give it to Kurt Busch, ...actually I'll make it a tie....Kurt Busch and Brian Vickers. Outstanding job by Vickers!...with a penalty to boot.
I certainly agree , those two kept my attention. I assume that you are not including Nationwide or you would have included Danica .:D Kurt also had a great Nationwide race.

Because it's Driver of the Week!

I have to go with Jeff Gordon He kicked butt in the first practice, fastest in the second practice, on top for Happy hour and qualified on the front row. Even after a bad call from the pits ran him outta gas and dropped him back to 16th-17th? He kept after it and managed a 6th place Finish! Good job JG!

Kurt Busch and Brian Vickers both did an outstanding job . So did Tony Stewart as usual . But i'd have to give the honors to the guy that dominated the day , Clint Bowyer .

I abstain, there were just too damn many candidates that should be picked, cup and nationwide.

What Kurt did in the past, or what he does in the future is irrelavant in this thread, and I can't overlook how he ran this race with a smaller budget car and out performed a lot of the bigger budget teams.

Tie between Kurt and Vickers. Bowyer had the best car but Kurt was the better driver... and he could've taken Bowyer out at any time and didn't. Vickers made a strong case for a full time ride.

Welcome to the forum , Mike . Good post and right on the money . Keep em comin.

Kurt Busch his performance and poise was exceptional during the post race interview.

As an aside he also drove a great race

Kurt Busch was pretty damn classy during the race and after the race, but I have to give the honor to the winner of the race Clint Bowyer.

Its nice to have a few candidates to pick from but I'm going with Kurt Busch.
