Driver X after Richmond
What a night!!!!!!!! Team X went to Richmond needing another solid finish.
They were not disappointed! The team took advantage of that mid-race yellow,
and stayed on the tail end of the lead lap. At the end of the night, Mr. X.
got his best finish of 2002! He finished 8th!!! This is his best finish
since Race #5 in Darlington, where he finished 11th. 8th place gives the
team 142 points, taking his total up to 2710. He stays 19th in points,
however. He is 73 points ahead of Kevin Harvick and 21 points behind Bobby
Labonte, who is in 18th. X is also 458 points out of the top 10. The average
finish rises from 20.4 to 19.9. Pumped up, the team now heads back tho the
slickery "Magic Mile" in Loudon, New Hampshire. When they went there in
November of 2001, the team finished 12th. When they were there several
months ago, he got his third-worst finish of the season in 31st. Keep it
going boys.... Let's try for a top 15 in points, or even a top 5 in a race!
