Driving Music?

Okay, so I’m planning to drive across the country and I need tons of music especially through the heartland when all I can pick up on the radio is Jesus.

I’ve got all the classic rockers, and my current favorite: Swampdawamp.

What else should I arm my ipod with?

Some, well maybe not Betsy, would argue that listening to Jesus never did a body harm.
Then again that's why I got Sirius so I can listen to Ch148 (Nascar)...

I'll send you a playlist later. I had a bunch of driving music on my Axim, but the girl only listens to cRap and R&B.

Jeez, I'm finished with this one. You youngsters wouldn't even have heard of what I'm listening to. Just a hint, anyone heard of Stan Kenton or Maynard Ferguson? All this nes crap has my head spinning....

Good choices buckaroo, but then again I'm an old fart too.
Maynard got his start with Stan and now both of them are gone. I was fortunate enough to see Maynard in person and what a show that was. Now, Arturo Sanduval is very much like Maynard, but does have his own style. Another great trumpeter is Chris Botti.

I like a lot of different artists for driving music. Some of these would be...

Everclear

Creed

Clint Black

Van Halen

Tom Petty

Travis Tritt

Hawk Nelson
