Darrell Waltrip was presented the Community Leadership Award at Williamson Christian College's annual fund-raiser this week. Waltrip has supported the college, located in Cool Springs, TN, by donating racing memorabilia for a silent auction.

I guess stealing Tony Stewart's stuff to donate really paid off!
 
Cool springs is not a city. It's a mall between Franklin and Brentwood. Franklin is full of old money, Brentwood is full of new money. Two of the wealthiest municipalities in Tennessee. DW's back yard I might add. So they give the home boy a plaque for his trophy shelf. Ho hum.
