Wow I never seen a tire destroy a car like that. Thank goodness the whole car didn't explode.

Is this going to be another weekend of bad tires, or did his set-up cause the tire to blow?
Kahne, Bowyer and Reutimann pulled out back-ups, too.

I have a feeling the 88 ran over something. Cars had more that 30 laps on tires with no problems. I doubt that the 10 or so laps Dale ran could have caused that.

Well there was something goin on with the rear tires in the ARCA race, a couple were self inflicted but most were tire failures.

I sure hope they don't have a bad tire at 'dega. That could get someone killed. Let's hope it's something they can look at and fix. I'm with dannynascar I have never seen a car come apart like that when a tire goes.

I think that's a new sheet metal removal record for a right rear?

article says they waited half an hour to re-open the track- I know the debris field was big, but was it REALLY that big? Or did they blow off the whole track for debris? I noticed in the video some of the bumper cover was caught in and went over the fence i think.

I watched the video and I really didn't see anything unusual. That's how Lil'E usually drives, isn't it... :D
