Earthquake in Cali

It was 8 KM underground. So it went a long ways but i highly doubt there was much major damage to any modernized infrastructure.

Felt nothing. Centered in the middle of nowhere death valley and Bakersfield.

It was really a roller in the northwest SFV. You know if it’s rolling and for an extended period of time that it’s a good distance away. I never got off the couch. :D

Hehe I slept through some. Last one I really felt was back in the 90's, actual dishes were rattling and I bailed for a doorjam.

Northridge Mall was basically the epicenter of the ‘94 quake.
We have an underground transformer vault directly adjacent to the parking structure that collapsed. I’m in that vault frequently. The walls are foot thick concrete. The door jamb leading in and the fan vent holes are cracked all the way through. The wall has date marks on it from August 94 when the cracks were injected with concrete epoxy.
I still get the creeps whenever I’m down there.

Looked pretty crazy on video where it was centered, hopefully no one got hurt.

Quake just stopped this Knicks/Pelicans Summer League game I’m watching. Vegas.
