My friend bp might be recovering from a stroke after watching ECU (Eastern Carolina University) beat NCSU (North Carolina State University}. What a game that was. Easy U built a 21 nothing lead in the first quarter, but State made 21 points in the second quarter to 3 for the Pirates. One might think that the rest of the game would be the same sort of offense the first half was, but only 9 points between the two teams were scored in the second stanza, putting the game into OT. State won the coin toss and elected to receive. The Pirates marched from the 25 and scored...but failed to make the point after. All State needed to do was score a touchdown and of course, the PAT to win the game. Three plays and Easy U intercepted a pass by the prolific State QB, Wilson to end the game. The wife is a grad of ECU and was beside herself. Was a very exciting game to listen to as I worked through the game.
