Wow. I wonder how many full time Nationwide drivers are about to be kicked to the curb?

There are 52 entries for the Food City 250 on Friday night at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Among the entries are 18 drivers also entered in the Sprint Cup event this weekend: Series points leader Brad Keselowski (Penske Racing), his closest challenger Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing), Dale Earnhardt Jr. (JR Motorsports), Ryan Newman (Phoenix Racing), Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing), Joey Logano (JGR), Clint Bowyer (Richard Childress Racing), Reed Sorenson (Braun Racing), Elliott Sadler (Kevin Harvick Inc.), Tony Raines (TriStar Motorsports), Jeff Green (TriStar Motorsports), Kasey Kahne (Braun Racing), Mike Bliss (Key Motorsports), Kevin Lepage (MacHill Motorsports), Michael McDowell (MacDonald Motorsports), Joe Nemechek (Nemco Motorsports), David Gilliland (D’Hondt-Humphrey Motorsports) and Paul Menard (Roush Fenway).

It's a shame that the cup drivers don't get kicked to the curb in a nationwide race. It's ridiculous when almost half the field in a nationwide race is cup drivers.

So only 25 regulars will make the show in nationwide....
That explains why Brian Keselowski is attempting Cup, he's probably got a better chance of making the field over in cup this week.:D

Newman is doing triple duty because he is running in the mods tomorrow night. That will be the best race of the weekend for me.
