According to Jayski he was 36th quickest in practice. Because starting lineup is detirmenned in a 36/6/1 fashion, shouldn't he be in?

The FIELD is set by owners points. The STARTING ORDER is set by practice speeds. Two very different things, in this case.

Top 36 by owner points and practice speeds, 37 thru 42 by provisionals and 43rd for a past champion if needed and if not 43rd by provisional.
I don't think Sadler qualified for a provisional due to the fact this was the only race he has attempted this year so far.

No, he got 36th which would put him in the last speed spot.
If this is true than this would make a lot of sense...

The owner of Sadlers car is not in the top 36 in points, He could have been fastest in first practice and still wouldn't have made the race.
