Jayski.com reports that Bill Elliott will semi-retire and run 5 cup races in 2004

Look for Ward Burton to try land that 9 ride then.

That's where I think Ward will end up. AOL's said they don't want him, and as hard as it is find sponsors, Richard will go along with their wishes. Dodge also really wants to keep him in their camp.

Look for the young gun Casey Kahne to be the driver of the #9 car!

ford needs to keep that young gun along with scott riggs

the original story is from the unreilible winston-salem journal

Bill will do what he wants to do...But I doubt its a limited scheldule. He's either gonna retire or run 1 more year. I really don't see why he wants to though, he is still one of the best drivers out there today, but I guess I can come to the fact that hes almost 50 years old and just can't keep up with the sport like he used too.
