Have to return to work tommorrow:(. We had a blast over this last week.

Yesterday we went to Cedar Point and had a blast. We ran around for thirteen hours straight going on rides. The only ride we didn't get to go on that we wanted to was the knew one, the Wicked Twister.

The power Tower was incredible. That might be the greatest ride I have ever been on. This ride looks simple but what a rush. All it does is shoot you straight up a coulple hundred feet really fast with your feet dangleing. Once you get to the top it takes several momeants for your inside to catch up to you.

wow, that sounds intense. you didnt leave your insides behind did you?:p

Here's a picture of me on a roller coaster:

:bleh:

Glad you had a good time though! :)

Was the Wicked Twister still shut down or was it working and you just did not go on it. Back in Junbe when we went the ride was shut down.

I've never been to Cedar Point but I've got friends that have and they've mentioned going sometime this yr. I LOVE roller coasters and i can't wait!!!!

Give me the rides at Cedar Point any day of the week! I love that huge, old, rattly wooden coaster that scares the chit out of you. Rode it 4 times in a row!

It was running, we just ran out of time. That and the cork screw are the only two coasters we didn't go on. We plan on going back in October for Hollow Weekends.

Not a big fan of rollercoasters. Been on Lightning Loops in Great Adventure and The Cylone in Astroland (Coney Island) one time each, and that was more than enough for me.

Ever hear of The Cyclone, by the way? It's that roller coaster in Annie Hall that Woody Allen's character, Alvy Singer, supposedly lived under as a child. According to my high school physics professor, it's one of the more exciting old roller coasters because it actually jumps the track at one point along the route. Very interesting experience, if you ever find yourself in NYC with nothing better to do. :)

There was an old wooden coaster in Galveston that I loved to ride back in the mid 50s. Shaky, creaky, swaying thing. Fabulous ride.

My grandparents took me to California in 1957 to go to Disneyland. While in CA, rode a steel coaster in Manhattan Beach(I think) that was half in/half out of the ocean. I remember looking down and seeing the waves. Only coaster I ever rode that made me wet my britches. I was only 11, after all. LOL

The one coaster at the Point, the Millineum Force, was 310 feet tall, had an 80 degree first hill and reached an incredible speed of 92 mph. We road that one after the sun went down and it was pretty intense, I thought my girlfriend was going to pass out.
We also road the Raptor after the sun went down. The Raptor is a suspension coaster with multiple loops and corkscrews. Half the time I could not tell if we were upside down or right side up.

Well after hearing that Racerx, I guess I'll take the 4 hr drive and go have some fun. Its probably a lot better than the Six Flags at Darien Lake that Ive been to a thousand times.
