After missing last week because my street vehicle was having fuel pump problems, we were back in action yesterday.
The heat race didn't go so well. I started 6th and was running 5th when I made a nice clean pass on the 4th place car. He tried a slingshot move and came up underneath me. I was faster and he didn't have a chance on getting his spot back, but I pushed it and hammered the wall pretty hard.
I was towed back to the pits with a flat and bent tie rod.
The feature went better. I started 11th, and moved up tp 5th. I had 4th place in my sights. Same car I passed in the heat right before I hit the wall. I was all over him. He got loose coming out of 4 and I checked up in order not to punt him when I myself got punted. Lost all the ground that I made up and think I went a lap down before I got it going again but I didn't bring a caution. We have some work to do this week. but should be ready to go by next Sunday.
